Body/Chassis
1. 1990 and newer American made body styles only.
2. Aluminum, steel, or fiberglass bodies.
3. Bodies must appear as manufactured and mounted per manufacturers guidelines.
4. No handmade body pieces.
5. No flaring of body, no skirting or streamling permitted.
6. Approved models GM-Monte Carlo/Impala SS/Grand Prix, Ford Taurus/Fusion, Dodge-Intrepid/Charger/Avenger
7. Wheelbase 102 Min.
8. Tread width 65 Max. Center to center of tires.
9. Roof Height 47 Min.
10. Ride height 4 Min. (without driver)
11. Spoilers 6 ½ tall x 60 wide Max. NO spoiler sides allowed.
12. Wheel well openings 30 Max.
13. Full width dashboard required.
14. Lexan windshield required. Must have 3 window support bars. Must be clear.
15. Hood and trunk must be securely pinned.
16. Driver must have easy access in and out of car.
17. Tires may not protrude outside of body.
18. Rear quarters must be heavily braced to keep tires from being exposed during contact.
19. Front and rear bumpers must extend to edge of body with 90 degree bends on each end.
20. Interior may be aluminum or steel with 1/8 (11 ga.) steel driveshaft tunnel.
21. Floorboard must be 1/8 (11ga) steel.
22. Complete front and rear firewall must be sealed, either from aluminum or steel.
23. Body is to be maintained in good condition and appearance through out the season.
Frame
1. Full tubular frame or stock stub type allowed.
2. Front and rear pick up loop required.
3. 10 ½ Min. from centerline of crankshaft to ground.
Roll Cage
1. Must be constructed of at least 1 ½ dia. x .095 DOM round tubing.
2. Must be welded to frame in at least 6 places.
3. Must have at least 3 horizontal curved door bars on left side.
4. Must have a .062 thick steel door plate welded from front to rear and top to bottom to outside of door bars.
5. Drivers head must have min. of 3 clearance between top of helmet and halo bar.
Bumpers
1. No exposed bumper tubes. Must be covered by nose or tail piece.
2. Round or square tube construction only.
Numbers
1. All cars MUST have large legible numbers on both doors and on top (reading from passenger side) in contrasting color from body.
2. Numbers must be at least 4 thick and 18 high on doors and 24 high on roof.
3. Car must have complying number in order to compete.
4. NO spray can or tape numbers allowed.
Seat
1. Must have a racing type aluminum seat at least .090 in thickness.
2. Must have at least 4 bolts attaching seat to cage or frame, 2 in bottom and 2 in back of seat.
3. Bolts must be at least 7/16 Grade 5 with fender washer under head.
Belts
1. Must have 3 lap and shoulder belts. In good condition, no more than 4 years old.
2. Must be mounted with ½ Grade 5 bolts.
Window Net
1. REQUIRED. MUST be securely mounted to body or cage at bottom.
2. Must be securely driver attachable and removable at top.
3. Must be attached in any racing condition.
Weight
1. Must weigh 2700#. 58% left side weight Max. with full tubular frame.
2. Must weigh 2700#, 60% left side weight Max. with stock stub frame.
3. All ballast weight must be painted white with car number on it.
4. No weight is permitted to be attached to door bars or leg bars.
Fuel Cell
1. Must have racing type fuel cell encased in an approved steel container or a 1/8 thick aluminum container.
2. Must be securely strapped side to side and front to back. No movement allowed. 2 2 x 1/8 straps front to rear around cell.
3. Straps MUST be bolted through with 5/16 Grade 5 bolts.
4. Must have fuel cell safety hoop extending below bottom of fuel cell, located at least 8 behind cell.
5. Cell can not hang below the rear end housing.
6. NO oxygen bearing additives.
7. GAS ONLY.
Wheels and Lugs
1. 10 max. wide. Steel wheels mandatory.
2. At least 5/8 lug bolts and 1 lug nuts recommended.
3. Wide 5 or 5 on 5 wheels allowed.
Driveline
1. Must be painted white with front safety hoop.
2. Steel or aluminum allowed.
Transmission
1. Automatic, OEM 3 or 4 speed or Bert, Brinn, Falcon type allowed.
2. May run a steel or aluminum bell housing.
3. Automatics MUST run a steel flex plate scatter shield.
Brakes
1. MUST lock up all 4 wheels.
2. May use racing type master cylinder and pedals.
3. Brake bias adjuster or proportional valves allowed.
Rear End/Suspension
1. Any 9 Ford floater or steel tubed quickchange.
2. Cambered rear end allowed. + or 1 degree Max.
3 Link design.
a. All components must be steel, except lower link tubes.
b. 1 lower link bar per side. Steel or aluminum.
c. 1 top link bar, solid, spring, or biscuit type, mounted to top center of housing.
d. NO biscuit or spring loaded lower link bars.
e. Front or rear panhard bar allowed.
Multi-leaf design.
a. Springs must be steel.
b. May use dampener shock on top of rear end.
c. Adjustable lowering blocks allowed.
Front Suspension
1. Upper a-frames may be tubular.
2. Upper a-frame mounts may be relocated.
3. Any type steel or cast spindle allowed
4. Spindle steering arm may be drilled to use heim end.
5. Pitman and idler arm must be stock appearing.
6. Adjustable aftermarket sway bar may be used on front only.
7. NO adjustable suspension components from inside of driver compartment.
8. Must have collapsible steering shaft or 2 universal joints, which are not mounted in the same plane.
9. Rack and pinion steering allowed.
Shocks and Springs
1. Conventional / coilover steel shock or aluminum threaded body coil over shocks allowed.
2. NO Canister type shocks allowed. Shocks with Schrader valves allowed.
3. May be relocated.
4. One shock per wheel or lift bar.
5. $400 claim on any shock of top 4 finisher. Claim must be in writing to tech inspector within 5 minutes of end of race.
Claim can only be made by any driver finishing the feature on the lead lap. Failure to sell, will result in loss of points and payout for that night.
Tires
1. Spec 10 Slick.
2. Initial pre-season purchase of 8 tires allowed and 1 tire per event thereafter.
3. Tires MUST Durometer read a minimum of 53 at Tech.
4. No softening agents allowed.
Motors (Option A & B)
1. OEM cast iron block only. Must have legible OEM numbers.
2. NO aftermarket blocks allowed.
3. 3 ½ engine set back allowed. Measured from center of upper ball joint to #1 spark plug hole.
4. Solid motor mounts allowed.
5. Any collector type header allowed.
6. May run dry sump motor with 50# added anywhere forward of rear of motor. Wet sump type motor only, for 2011.
7. Crankshaft centerline MUST be 10 ½ min. from ground.
8. NO lightweight, pendulum cut, scalloped, knife edged, or Scalloped rear flange cranks.
9. 1 inspection hole must be in left side of pan, above oil level and in line with crank throw for inspection purposes.
If inspection hole is not available, pan will be removed to tech crank.
10. MUST have radiator overflow catch can under hood. NO ANTIFREEZE, WATER ONLY.
Ignition (Option A & B Motors)
1. MUST be stock type HEI, MSD 6 series, ASA approved Crane box #6000-6463 w/ Crane coil #PS92N only.
2. All boxes and wiring MUST be located out of reach of driver.
3. NO trigger fired or magneto type.
4. Must have working starter.
5. Must have safety stop switch, located behind and to left of driver. MUST
be clearly marked and located by track officials.
6. Analog gauges only. No digital gauges or tach.
7. No traction control devices. Noncompliance will result in disqualification, loss of all points, and confiscation of device.
Motor Option A
1. 362 ci. Max
2. Flat top or dished pistons, Flat tappet cam.
Carburetor/Intake (Option A Motor)
1. 2 Bbl. only. Max 500 CFM. Holley 4412 only.
2. No modifications allowed.
3. MUST have choke horn intact. May remove choke butterfly plate.
4. MUST use an Edelbrock Performer 4 bbl. Intake:

1. Any stock GM head, except Bowtie Vortec #25534421 & #25534431. 2.02 intake and 1.6 exhaust valve max.
2. No angle milled heads.
3. Max. valve spring diameter- 1.460.
4. Flat tappet, solid lift cam only.
5. No mushroom lifters.

4. All Crate motors are to be sealed by the manufacture and/or Certified Engine
Rebuilder and must remain in the as shipped condition.
Carburetor/Intake (Option B Motor)
1. 4 Bbl. only: Max 650 CFM; Holley 4150HP only; #80541-1 only.
2. No modifications allowed.
3. MUST be stock crate motor intake ONLY. No other type intake allowed.
4. GM 604 may have max.1 thick spacer between carb and intake, with 4 round,
non-tapered holes ONLY.
5. Carburetor and adapter gaskets .062 Max. thickness.
6. $800 claim on any carburetor of the top 4 finishers. Claim can only be made by any car finishing the feature on the lead lap.
Claim must be made in writing to tech official within 5 minutes of end of race. Failure to sell, will result in loss of points and payout for that night.
Competitor running a 4 Bbl. can not claim a 2 Bbl.
Fire Suit and Helmet
1. MUST wear full SFI approved Auto race suit.
2. Helmet must be at least Snell 90 approved.
3. Neck restraint, SFI gloves and shoes recommended.
4. Suit and Helmet MUST be worn anytime car is on racing surface running above idle speed.
Miscellaneous
1. Mirrors allowed. 1 2 Ύ spot mirror and 1 rear view mirror. Must not extend outside
of body.
2. Radios allowed. Frequency must be submitted to official for monitoring purposes.
Must be able to scan track frequency.
