ON TRACK RULES

All racers must line up in staging area based on lineup board. Do not enter track until the green light is given.

In the event that you are being lapped, you must allow the faster rider to pass you. Failure to do so may result in disqualification. The rider is signaled with a BLUE flag.

Each rider must memorize the color and function of each flag. GREEN signals that the race is in progress. YELLOW signals that the racer should use caution. This is usually used in a particular part of the track when an accident has occurred. RED will be used to stop the race. If the red flag is displayed, all riders must come to a complete stop on the track where they are at, at that time. If the red flag comes out and the leader has not yet completed ½ of the total laps, the race will be restarted. If the leader has completed at least ½ of the required laps when the red is given, the race is scored complete. BLACK in waived at an individual rider to signal them to pull off the track. WHITE is a courtesy flag signaling the beginning of the last lap. CHECKERED means the race is over. Riders must slow down and exit the track at the appointed area.

RED flag - ONLY ONE CREWMEMBER PER THE ATV/ATVs INVOLVED ALLOWED ON THE TRACK OR INFIELD. If your driver is not involved, do not enter the track.

Riders must re-enter the track where they went out of bounds or they may be disqualified or scored back one full lap. If a rider leaves the track and returns to the pits, they will not be allowed to re-enter the track.

Riders must finish the race on the same quad on which they began the race. Rider must run the feature on the same quad they qualified on. If qualifying quad can not be used for the feature, the second quad must meet the class and track requirements, as determined by the inspection officer or promoter.

The track promoter will determine how many laps are to be run by each class. This will be determined on entries of that class. All races will be by laps or time, which ever is obtained first.

No stopping on track to argue with an Official. Flagman has the option to BLACK flag the racer to the pits in order to expedite the race. Also anyone stopping on the track under a YELLOW with out Officials permission will automatically go to back of lineup.

CREWMEMBERS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON RACETRACK OR INFIELD WHILE RACE IS IN PROCESS.

If a racer jumps the start, they will be moved to the penalty line to start.

The Start Official or the Flagman has the authority to disqualify or penalize any racer acting inappropriately. Racers will respect the decision of the Officials without argument.

Heat race line up is determined by pill draw at sign-in. Heat races are run to determine the line-up of the main event. (Ex. 1st place finisher will have first pick of start line position.) If there are 11 or more entries for a class, that class will be divided into multiple heats. Line-up for the main event will be determined as follows – Each heat will be timed based on the finish time of the leader. The 1st place winner of the fastest heat will get first pick of line position, the winner of the second fastest heat will get second pick, the 2nd plc. Finisher of the fastest heat will get third pick, and 2nd plc. Of second fastest heat will get fourth pick, etc.)

Racers that DNF in the heat race will receive last pick in the main event line-up.

2 Minute Rule – If a rider fails to report to the starting line, a representative must be present to hold the stating position. The start of the race will not be held up any longer than 2 minutes. Next heat or event must be on start line as previous race ends.

NO KNOBBY TIRES ALLOWED.
